The battery pack is the rechargeable power unit designed for the TRC5200 handheld radio. Based on Lithium-ion technology, it permits the employment of the radio in extreme environmental condition.
Description
The battery is encased in an ABS shell that consists of the following parts:
Cylindrical Lithium Ion cells
Six Lithium-ion cylindrical cells in series parallel configuration i.e. 3S2P
The battery implements a Fuel Gauge Integrated Circuit that reports the battery information such as available capacity, number of cycle (estimates cell ageing), state of charge through DQ interface.
