Function

The BCH 221B is a Polymer Li-Ion (PLI) battery charger, designed to fast charge 2 BPK221 batteries, from a 12V DC power supply or a 110-240V AC-DC power adapter, in a workshop or a sheltered environment.
Any other type of battery is strictly prohibited.

Description

The charger has 2 positions (Pack 1 and Pack 2). The indicators are:
  • POWER (Green LED)
  • PACK 1 and PACK 2 charge
  • (Red LED: Charging, Green LED: Full charge)
  • Over/Under voltage red LED warning
  • Over/Under temperature range red LED warning
The power is provided through AC/DC adapter when supplied from the mains.

Protections
  • Red LED turn on if DC voltage is out of tolerances
  • Red LED turns on if temperature is out of the authorised range
  • DC input polarity protection is by mechanical polarisation
  • Protection against short circuits / over currents on input power (Replaceable fuse)
