The BCH 127 is a workshop charger, designed to do sequentially fast charge of 2 BPK124 or BPK 624 NiCd batteries, from a 12V DC power supply or a 110-240V AC power mains, and for discharge on one position.
The charger has 2 positions (Pack1 and Pack2).
The indicators are:
- POWER (Red LED).
- PACK1 and PACK2 charge (Red in charge, Green when charged).
- Over/Under voltage and over/under temperature range red LED warnings.
- Discharge button and yellow indicator for Pack1.
The power supply is done through an AC/DC adapter when supplied from the mains.
- Power supply:
• 12V DC power supply (10.8V to 15V) – (with 12V DC Cord).
• AC mains : 110-240V, 50/60 Hz ±10%. (with AC/DC adapter).
Maximum consumption during charge at +25°C :1.35A at 12V DC or < 0.15A rms for 230V AC.
- Fast charge:
• Sequential for each battery at rate 0.65C.(1.3 A).
• Typical time for one battery 1h45mn.
- End of charge:
• Detection of –ΔV / ΔT.
• Timer : 3h per battery.
- Discharge:
• 340 mA (C/6).
• The charge starts automatically when the battery voltage is < 5.1V.
- Operating temperature range:
• 0°C to + 40°C.
- Protections:
• Red LED turn on if DC voltage out of tolerances.
• Red LED turn on if temperature out of the authorised range.
• Protection on the input DC for polarity by mechanical polarisation.
• Protection against shortcut on input.
